IMH President Talks to Kiwanis

Kiwanian of the Day, Chris Curry (left in photo) invited Chuck Bohlmann (right) as his guest presenter at a recent Watseka Kiwanis Club gathering.  Chuck updated the group about IMH.  Patient satisfaction is in the 90th%tile, new providers have been added and most importantly patient outcomes have improved IMH’s readmission rate to far below the state wide average, and there have been no hospital acquired infections over the last 3 years.  A Hospitalist program has been started to further enhance the inpatient care being provided.  The Hospitalist works closely with the patient’s physician to coordinate the care provided to the patient while they are in the hospital.
